Instructions on how to use this calculator are located to the right. This is a tool designed for use by both the Unit Administrator and the individual soldier to calculate APFT scores quickly as an alternative to referring to a paper chart for each event.
Thank you for using the Army and National Guard Physical Fitness Test (APFT) calculator.
About the APFT
The United States Army Physical Fitness Test (APFT) is designed to test the muscular strength, endurance, and cardiovascular respiratory fitness of soldiers in the Army. Soldiers are scored based on their performance in three events consisting of the push-up, sit-up, and a two-mile run, ranging from 0 to 100 points in each event. A minimum score of 60 in each event is required to pass the test. The soldier's overall score is the sum of the points from the three events. If a soldier passes all three events, the total may range from 180 to 300. A soldier can score above 300 if the soldier scores at least 100 points in every event. This calculator will make scoring your APFT score easy and fast - including scoring using the extended scale if applicable.
Features of this physical fitness test score calculator:
|-||If the soldier scores 100 points or above in every category on the PT Test, this tool will automatically provide you with the score according to the PT test extended scale.
|-||If the soldier does not meet the minimum score for any event (minimum pushup score, minimum situp score, or minimum 2 mile run time), then that calculated score will be highlighted in red.
|-||The calculated score will show as soon as the raw score is put in, this is useful if you just want to see a calculated score for an individual event without calculating the score for the entire APFT.
|-||This calculator is accurate for Active Duty Army, Army Reserve, and National Guard soldiers.|
